Prof.Dr.Padmini Tikoo

Prof. Dr Padmini Tikoo is a distinguished Sitar maestro, musicologist, and academic scholar from Jammu & Kashmir, India. She belongs to the prestigious Banaras Gharana musical traditions.
She has served as an Associate Professor and the Head of the Sanskrit/Music Departments at Cluster University of Jammu.

Dr. Veethika Tikoo (Senior Instructor): ASV is proud to house elite faculty like Dr. Veethika Tikoo, a pioneering Santoor maestro, researcher, and the first female Santoor player from Jammu & Kashmir to perform internationally. Holding a Ph.D. in Indian Music, Dr. Tikoo brings over two decades of rigorous training under the legendary Padma Shri Pandit Bhajan Sopori. Having performed in over 150 concerts globally—including the Belgium Parliament and Rashtrapati Bhavan—she personally designs and oversees our advanced instrumental curriculum. She belongs to Sufiyana Gharana of Jammu & Kashmir.
